Chin Implants

Chin augmentation surgery is a relatively straight forward procedure that can be performed under local anesthetic - however to make the procedure more comfortable for you most surgeons advocate a general anesthetic followed by a restful night in hospital.

Surgery is usually performed via a small inconspicuous incision either under the chin or in the mouth. Your chin prosthesis (implant) is then inserted under your Periosteum and from there directly onto your Mandible. The opening is then neatly closed by fully absorbable stitches.
