Doctor Luis Sancho Torres
General Psychiatry

Professor of Psychiatry, University of Costa Rica and other private universities.

Director and founding member of the Department of Psychiatry of the La Catolica Hospital.

Founding member of the Costa Rican Psychoneuropharmacology Association.

Director, Clinica Forest, a private psychiatric hospital and center for drug rehabilitation.

In 1987 he graduated as a Psychiatrist at the University of Costa Rica.

Since 1988 he has help consultation in his Private Practice.

Starting in 1995 he has been dedicated exclusively to psychiatric emergency care and acted as psychiatric liaison in the private sector.

Clinical researcher as a Principal Investigator and Co-investigator in psychiatry for different pharmaceutical companies.

He has been a speaker for different pharmaceutical companies and Speaker at different national congresses.

He is also an expert in Psychiatry for the Costa Rica Judicial System.

Dr. Sancho received his training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Vancouver, Canada, and in San Diego, California U.S., at the APA meeting 2006.

He is the Co-Director of TMS Costa Rica; a clinic specialized in the treatment of patients with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation since 2006.
